Soccer Recap: Southampton Extends Winning Streak to Four

Southampton won the last time they faced Greensville County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 5-4. It was an even better day for Laurence Wallace as he scored four goals for his team.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Southampton, bringing their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matches. As for Greensville County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Southampton will welcome Amelia County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greensville County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
