Soccer Recap: Taylor County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Taylor County can now relate to. They fell just short of the Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tiger Sharks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Taylor County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-2. As for Port St. Joe, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11-1.

Taylor County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Port St. Joe, they will take on Maclay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maclay will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Port St. Joe surely won't give up without a fight.
