Football Recap: Park Ridge's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Park Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 25-19 to the Wood-Ridge Blue Devils.

Despite the defeat, Park Ridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Patrick Randolph rushed for 106 yards and two scores. Randolph's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards.

Park Ridge's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Wood-Ridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Park Ridge will challenge rival St. Mary at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Wood-Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Bogota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
