Soccer Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the V.R. Eaton Eagles. That's two games in a row now that Trinity have lost by just one goal.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for V.R. Eaton, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trinity is set to challenge their familiar foe Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, V.R. Eaton will face off against rival Timber Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
