Baseball Recap: King Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ridge Spring-Monetta last Wednesday, King Academy came back down to earth. The King Academy Knights lost 14-4 to the Richard Winn Academy Eagles on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

King Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Hutto, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3.

King Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Richard Winn Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While King Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
