Cranston West faced Pilgrim in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 12-3 victory. Considering the Falcons have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Mia Crudale spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.
