How to watch: UIL volleyball championships

Four MaxPreps Top 25 teams in action as Texas will crown 11 champions over three days.

The University Interscholastic League volleyball finals are set to start Thursday in Garland and four MaxPreps Top 25 teams are among the 22 teams looking to hoist a trophy over the three-day event.

All games can be streamed on the NFHS Network.

No. 1 Byron Nelson (Trophy Club) looks to go wire-to-wire as the top-ranked team in the country as the Bobcats take on No. 25 Dawson (Pearland) at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Conference 6A Division 1 final. Byron Nelson has won 77 straight matches and is looking for its second straight UIL crown. Dawson is looking to send coach Lauren Leth out a winner with the school's first title. Leth is leaving the school to become an assistant principal at Berry Miller junior high.

No. 17 Southlake Carroll (Southlake) is back in the championship match for the first time since 1998 as the Dragons take on Austin in the weekend's final match at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Also back in the title match is No. 20 Highland Park (Dallas) for the first time since 2008 as the Scots tangle with A&M Consolidated (College Station) at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
