Great Mills extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-4-1. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of St. Charles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

St. Charles' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For St. Charles' part, Kory Queen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 15 Ks. Queen has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Great Mills will face off against La Plata at 4:30 p.m. on the 8th. As for St. Charles, they will challenge Fairmont Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
