Glacier Peak lost to Lake Stevens back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Grizzlies had just enough and edged out the Vikings 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Glacier Peak's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Lake Stevens are ranked 20th).

Glacier Peak is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season. As for Lake Stevens, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Glacier Peak is set to challenge their familiar foe Kamiak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Stevens will face off against rival Mariner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
