Soccer Recap: LaBelle Comes Up Short

LaBelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oasis Sharks. The Cowboys/Cowgirls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sharks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.

LaBelle's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Oasis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-1.

LaBelle will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Palmetto Ridge at 7:30 p.m. As for Oasis, they will face off against Cape Coral at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oasis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.
