Soccer Recap: Castro Valley Takes a Loss

Castro Valley and Casa Grande squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Castro Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Casa Grande Gauchos by a score of 1-0.

Castro Valley's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Casa Grande, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Castro Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Casa Grande, they will face off against Terra Linda at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Terra Linda's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
