Galt has gone 10-0 against El Dorado recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Galt Warriors will be home for the holidays to greet the El Dorado Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Galt will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, it was close, but Galt ultimately received the gift of a 2-1 victory from a begrudging Galt squad. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the The Pride are ranked 216th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jaylen Mendez and Breen Velazquez scored both of Galt's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, El Dorado was forced to settle for a draw. They and Rosemont finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

Galt's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. El Dorado's draw makes their record 3-5-1 this season.

Galt took their victory against El Dorado in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 6-0. Does Galt have another victory up their sleeve, or will El Dorado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
