Arkansas team ends 43-game losing streak.

Waldron (Ark.) didn't win a football game in 2015.

In fact, the Bulldogs didn't win one in 2014, 2013 or 2012 either.

The west Arkansas school entered this season with a 43-game losing streak dating back to Oct. 14, 2011.

But that legacy of losing ended in a big way Friday night as Waldron smacked rival Mansfield 45-0 to begin 2016 with a 1-0 record.
Mansfield beat Waldron by scores of 36-14 (2015), 34-14 (2014), 48-28 (2013) and 47-6 (2012) during the streak.

Football wins have been pretty hard to come by in Waldron going all the way back to 2007 as the Bulldogs have a record of just 7-84 over the span.

But none of that matters tonight – the streak is dead.

Hats off to these guys…
