Soccer Recap: Raleigh-Egypt Comes Up Short

Raleigh-Egypt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Craigmont Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Raleigh-Egypt of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Raleigh-Egypt's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Craigmont, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Raleigh-Egypt will face off against rival Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Craigmont is set to challenge their familiar foe Ridgeway at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
