Basketball Recap: Walnut Grove Comes Up Short

Walnut Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 66-23 loss at the hands of the Madison County Red Raiders. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Walnut Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Madison County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Walnut Grove won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against W D Mohammed at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Madison County will take on Stephens County in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
