Model dropped down to 3-13 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Garrard County Golden Lions, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 25 runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Garrard County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-16. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games.

For Garrard County's part, Aubree VanWinkle was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Destiny Logan, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Model has already played their next game (against Lynn Camp), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Garrard County, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Whitley County at 12:00 p.m.
