West Bloomfield dropped their record down to 17-7 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Walled Lake Western Warriors by a score of 5-3. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Lakers, who fell 6-4 when the teams last met back in May of 2023.

As for Walled Lake Western, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-10-2. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly two runs.

For Walled Lake Western's part, their win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Logan Saks, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

While West Bloomfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
