Softball Recap: The Meadows School Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for The Meadows School's offense. They came up short against the Moapa Valley Pirates on Monday, falling 17-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 18-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

The Meadows School has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Moapa Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

While The Meadows School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
