Football Game Preview: Mohonasen Warriors vs. South Glens Falls Bulldogs

For the first time this season, Mohonasen will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the South Glens Falls Bulldogs on Friday. Mohonasen will be strutting in after a victory while South Glens Falls will be coming in after a defeat.

Mohonasen is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Fowler on Friday. The Warriors enjoyed a cozy 28-12 win over the Falcons. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, South Glens Falls was beaten by Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 48-16 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Spartans are ranked 122nd).

The victory got Mohonasen back to even at 2-2. As for South Glens Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Mohonasen didn't have too much breathing room in their game against South Glens Falls in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 20-16 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
