Baseball Game Preview: Edison Tigers vs. Sanger West Hornets

The Edison Tigers will challenge the Sanger West Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Edison nor Sanger West posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Friday just wasn't the day for Edison's offense. They lost 8-0 to Sanger on Friday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Apaches recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Sanger West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to Justin Garza, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Sanger West's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1.

Edison might still be hurting after the 13-4 loss they got from Sanger West when the teams last played on April 8th. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
