Volleyball Recap: Hobart Takes a Loss

Hobart saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: South Bend Saint Joseph scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20.

Joel Mock paced Hobart's offense, picking up six kills. Mock got some help from David Camacho and his eight assists. Mock was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Hobart's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Hobart will venture away from home to take on Hammond Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against South Bend Riley on the 14th.
