Preview: Trinity Titans vs. Benton HomeSchool Bucks

The Trinity Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Benton HomeSchool Bucks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Trinity struggled with assists on Tuesday (Elkhart Christian Academy had nine more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Trinity lost to Elkhart Christian Academy at home by a decisive 46-28 margin.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jacob Palmer, who scored six points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Josh Heintzelman, who scored six points.

Meanwhile, Benton HomeSchool unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. The match between Benton HomeSchool and Northside L wasn't particularly close, with Benton HomeSchool falling 62-44.

Trinity bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Benton HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Everything came up roses for Trinity against Benton HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in January of 2022 as the team secured a 51-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
