Basketball Game Preview: Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers vs. Hot Springs Bison

Lead-Deadwood hasn't had much luck against Hot Springs recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers are taking a road trip to take on the Hot Springs Bison at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in Lead-Deadwood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

Last Thursday, Lead-Deadwood came up short against Douglas and fell 66-59.

Meanwhile, Hot Springs lost 51-28 to Belle Fourche on Thursday. The contest marked the Bison's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hot Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lead-Deadwood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Lead-Deadwood took a serious blow against Hot Springs in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 73-36. Can Lead-Deadwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
