There's no place like home for Poteet, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Ennis Lions on Tuesday as they made off with a 53-31 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Poteet is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Ennis, they moved to 3-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Poteet will take on Crandall in a tournament on December 4. As for Ennis, they will challenge Cedar Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will be up against the Longhorns' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
