North Bullitt barely beat Bullitt Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Cougars on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won 16 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

North Bullitt has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. As for Bullitt Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Bullitt will head out to take on Prestonsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bullitt Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Nelson County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
