Football Game Preview: Creek Valley Storm vs. Garden County Eagles

Creek Valley is 0-5 against Garden County since September of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Storm will welcome the Eagles. Creek Valley has given up an average of 50.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Creek Valley's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Potter-Dix on Friday. They were dealt a 64-0 defeat at the hands of the Coyotes. The game marked the first time this year in which the Storm were not able to get on the board.

Creek Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Pj Schultz and Luke Fletcher.

Meanwhile, Garden County strolled into their game last Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 68-18 victory over Leyton. With the Eagles ahead 38-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Garden County's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Creek Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Thursday's game might be decided on the ground. Creek Valley has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 157.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Garden County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 330.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
