Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy Catholic). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Kentwood Conquerors 49-14. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Conquerors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The win got Kennedy Catholic back to even at 2-2. As for Kentwood, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy Catholic will square off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lancers will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kentwood, they will challenge Stadium at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
