Volleyball Recap: Roncalli Comes Up Short

Roncalli had taken Waubay/Summit down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Roncalli's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Waubay/Summit, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.

Roncalli wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Herreid/Selby on the 11th. As for Waubay/Summit, they will challenge Wilmot at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
