Baseball Recap: Fort Bend Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Fort Bend Christian Academy's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Jackson Woolley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lutheran South Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-2-1 record this season.

While Fort Bend Christian Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
