Basketball Recap: St. Paul Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

St. Paul lost against Bracken Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. Paul Cardinals lost 60-39 to the Bracken Christian Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cardinals have suffered since December 12, 2024.

Bracken Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Wyatt Parsons out in front who went 9 for 18 on his way to 21 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Ethan Cruz, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

St. Paul's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-4. As for Bracken Christian, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Sacred Heart the next time they take the court. St. Paul will head out to face Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Bracken Christian will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
