Baseball Game Preview: Lynbrook Vikings vs. Saratoga Falcons

The Lynbrook Vikings will head out to challenge the Saratoga Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lynbrook has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 22.

Evergreen Valley hit Lynbrook with a five-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-4.

Lynbrook saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Akira Gok, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Saratoga's offense. They lost 7-0 to Santa Clara on Tuesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Saratoga's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Lynbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Lynbrook might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Saratoga when the teams last played back in March. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
