On Saturday, Salesianum faced St. Georges Tech in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Salesianum Sallies managed a 65-59 win over the St. Georges Tech Hawks. The victory was familiar territory for the Sallies, who have now won five matchups in a row.

When it comes to explaining why St. Georges Tech lost, don't look at Joshua Obiora. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 19 boards. Obiora has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emory Womack, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 14 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Salesianum's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for St. Georges Tech, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.
