Preview: Peoples Academy Wolves vs. Lamoille Lancers
Peoples Academy has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Lamoille Lancers at 9:46 a.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Vermont (Peoples Academy is ranked 50th, while Lamoille is ranked 29th).
Last Friday, Peoples Academy came up short against Lake Region and fell 50-40.
Meanwhile, Lamoille unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Montpelier on the road and fell 80-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Lamoille has suffered against Montpelier since March 20, 2021.
Peoples Academy bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lamoille, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Peoples Academy suffered a grim 49-26 defeat to Lamoille in their previous matchup last Monday. Can Peoples Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
