Softball Recap: Warrensburg Comes Up Short at Home Against Granville

Warrensburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 18-2 to the Granville Golden Horde on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Burgers of the 16-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The victory got Granville back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warrensburg will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Johnsburg Central at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Granville, they will venture away from home to square off against Whitehall at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
