Volleyball Recap: Gwynn Park Has No Trouble Against Central

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, Gwynn Park was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Central Falcons 3-0. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Gwynn Park walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-22, 25-23.

The victory got Gwynn Park back to even at 1-1. As for Central, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Gwynn Park and Central will both be playing Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will host them at 6:30 p.m. on October 6.
