             Thomson hadn't done well against Baldwin recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Saturday. The Thomson Bulldogs came out on top against the Baldwin Braves by a score of  64-54. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered  a  50-25  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Thomson to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Paris Rosser, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and nine  steals. Rosser has been hot for a while, having  posted three or more  steals the last 12 times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ty?Leishiah Latimore, who  posted 15 points along with six  steals and five  rebounds.
 Thomson  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive rebounds in 19 consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
  Kassidy Neal and  Janaye Walker certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss.  Neal  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and ten  rebounds, while  Walker  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 15  rebounds. The dominant performance also gave  Neal a new career-high in  field goal percentage (86%).  Suri Clark was another key player,  scoring seven points.
 Thomson's record now sits at 2-0. As for Baldwin,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at 26 games  dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.
 Thomson will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Beach at 7:00  p.m. As for Baldwin, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jackson  at 2:30  p.m.  on Friday.
