Basketball Recap: Bradshaw Mountain Bears vs. Mingus Marauders
Bradshaw Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 61-42 bruising from the Mingus Marauders. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Marauders from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.
When it comes to explaining why Bradshaw Mountain lost, don't look at Kalli Smith. Despite the final result, she went 7 for 17 on her way to 18 points and six boards. That was a full 42.9% of Bradshaw Mountain's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Allyson Downing was another key player, putting up six points.
