Gloucester put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Mathews Blue Devils get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. Give the Dukes' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Gloucester pushed their record up to 19-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Mathews, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gloucester will face off against Woodside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dukes are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Mathews, they will square off against West Point at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
