Westerly had won nine straight home games and Ella Reyes did her part to make it ten on Friday. The Westerly Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 52-35 victory over the Moses Brown Quakers which was due in part to Reyes, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Reyes is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Madison Pellegrino was another key player, putting up seven points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave her a new career-high.

Westerly has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points over those games. Moses Brown's defeat ended a 16-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Westerly will challenge North Kingstown at 6:00 p.m. on February 28th. North Kingstown will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Westerly surely won't give up without a fight. Moses Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
