Baseball Recap: Garinger Wildcats vs. East Mecklenburg Eagles
Garinger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-3 to the East Mecklenburg Eagles. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Diego Camero made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Four bases. while going 3-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Samuel Gwin also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Garinger's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East Mecklenburg, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
Coming up, Garinger will challenge Olympic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Mecklenburg, they will square off against A.L. Brown at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Mecklenburg knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully A.L. Brown likes a good challenge.
