Volleyball Recap: Richards Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

After losing to Oak Forest the last time they met, Richards decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Bengals 2-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Richards had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Richards pushed their record up to 11-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Oak Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-15.

Looking ahead, Richards will look to defend their home court on Friday against Brother Rice at 5:30 p.m. As for Oak Forest, they will host Lemont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
