Football Game Preview: New Hampstead Phoenix vs. Warner Robins Demons + Official Tickets

After each having a week off, the New Hampstead Phoenix and the Warner Robins Demons will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Hampstead is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

New Hampstead is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Ware County two weeks ago (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Phoenix took a blow against the Gators, falling 57-19. While losing is never fun, the Phoenix can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Gators are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, Warner Robins fell victim to Benedictine and their airtight defense last Friday. They had to suffer through a 61-0 loss at the hands of the Cadets. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Demons were not able to get on the board.

New Hampstead's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Warner Robins, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

New Hampstead came up short against Warner Robins in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 34-22. Can the Phoenix avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
