Soccer Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss

After flying high against George C. Marshall on Monday, Wakefield came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Washington-Liberty Generals by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for Wakefield in their meetings with Washington-Liberty: they've now lost three in a row.

Wakefield's goal came courtesy of Erik Vasquez Ayala, who's now up to five this season.

Wakefield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Washington-Liberty, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
