Basketball Recap: Lily Trotter's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rocket City over Tennessee Heat

Rocket City lost against Tennessee Heat back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rocket City Falcons took a 42-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tennessee Heat. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily Trotter, who posted 11 points in addition to seven boards and four blocks. That's the most blocks Trotter has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Allegra Borchers, who had six points along with 12 rebounds and eight blocks.

Rocket City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Tennessee Heat, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-12.

Rocket City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-32 loss against Providence Classical on the 3rd. Tennessee Heat has also already played their next match (against KIPP Nashville Collegiate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
