Abington Heights won the last time they faced West Scranton and things went their way on Friday too. The Comets breezed past the Invaders to the tune of 37-10. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Comets just coasted through the last quarter.
Abington Heights had a senior duo take command as Gavin Anders picked up 137 receiving yards and three scores and Nick Bradley threw for 136 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Anders also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble, making 12 total tackles, and defending two passes. Abington Heights also got a significant boost from Jayden Anglin, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 92 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Abington Heights' defense and their four sacks. West Scranton's QB won't forget Logan Bohn anytime soon given he sacked him twice.
