King Campbell Crosses Big Stat Threshold

King Campbell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cottonwood to the win on Friday. Campbell rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (104.4). He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.

The win for Cottonwood keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Campbell and Cottonwood will square off against Long at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brendan Hall Dazzles in Geneva County Defeat

While Geneva County might've come up empty on Friday, Brendan Hall wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Hall as he rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns.

Geneva County's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4. Hall's next game is against Ariton on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Pittman Made His Presence Known in Providence Christian's 42-17 Win

Providence Christian picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Craig Pittman. Long had no answer to Pittman as he threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

This year, Pittman has thrown 14 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 119.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11.63 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 80 rushing yards.

Providence Christian Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Tyler Sharp

Tyler Sharp was instrumental in extending Providence Christian's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Sharp as he rushed for 23 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.

On the season, Sharp has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 34.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 0.25 rushing yards per game.

Braylon Morris's big game helped extend Cottonwood's winning streak to nine on Friday. Morris did his part (and then some), throwing for 134 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 33 yards for the 'W'.
