Recap: LaSalle Tigers vs. Northwood Gators
The LaSalle Tigers had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Northwood, posting a 52-14 win at home. LaSalle's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.
Kendryk Morrow was on fire: he rushed for 204 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 129 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Gagne, who rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
LaSalle's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Northwood, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8.
LaSalle will challenge Beekman at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Northwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Mary presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northwood in Louisiana (St. Mary is ranked 112th, while Northwood is ranked 301st).
