Basketball Recap: West Branch Comes Up Short

West Branch lost against Pella Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Branch Bears took a hard 69-51 fall against the Pella Christian Eagles.

West Branch has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Pella Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3.

West Branch will face off against Tipton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pella Christian, they will head out to square off against Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
