After a string of three wins, Triton Central's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Indian Creek Braves by a score of 5-4.

Ashlyn Hittle made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Kimiko Keith was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Triton Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Indian Creek, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

While Triton Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
