Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). They blew past the West Pioneers 18-0 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Lilly Hoffman made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kam Stubbs was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Mia Touchatt was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
